I use that function when I want to relax to fall asleep, but not leave it running all night long. If you do happen to fall asleep, but forgot to set a timer, no worries! It will automatically shut off once it runs out of water. The remote works well. You can turn it on/off, change the colors of the steam/fire, turn the steam/fire on/off, and set the timer with the remote. Also, they have offered me a full refund for the diffuser that quit working! I really appreciate it, because I thought I was just out of luck since there was only a 30-day warranty on it. So far my new one is still going strong! I’m hoping this one lasts! I love it so much!
